Every bus terminal, airport or transportation point in Peru has its share of touts. This is also true for Nazca. And in Nazca, they don't keep it civilized, so you better stick to your plans and don't let anyone try to convince you to go elsewhere.

Non of these touts have your best interests in mind, only their own!

As soon as you get off the bus or out of the terminal, you will be stormed by a horde of touts that will tell you whatever lie necessary to get you to go with them. Don't listen to them: you might wind up losing money or worse!

The safest you can do is have a reservation in a hotel BEFORE you arrive in Nazca and STICK to it. Arrange a pick up there. Remember: we have a TAXI guarantee: we'll pay you your taxi to any hotel in Nazca in case you wouldn't like our place. Yes, we're that sure of our business.
